Internationales

Welcome!

Thanks very much for visiting our website about our camp taking place in Großzerlang from August 24 to September 4, 2014. That means you or your whole scout group are interested in meeting international scouts. If so, we match perfectly!

We are a group of four people responsible for taking care of our dear international guests at Scouttropolis. We have attended and/or organized a couple of international scout meetings ourselves, so we do know how inspiring, exciting and simply interesting meeting scouts from all over the world is.
That is exactly why we would like you to join our camp in Germany. You will be able to experience a German scout camp, take part in our whole programme and teach us about your cultures and the way scouting is done in your countries.

If you have any questions concerning the organization of the camp or need any more information or have not received our flyer covering many important information, please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail: international@scouttropolis.de. We would be very happy to help you!

Introducing ourselves:

Tobias
International Commissioner of the Camp

Within the last few years, Tobias spent much time at international scout camps, e.g. “Kohina” camp in Finland in 2008, IST at the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden in 2011 and Spejdernes Lejr in Denmark in 2012. He also visited the training in “Leading of International Scout Meetings”. In his holidays, Tobias likes to travel and has a lot of friends around the world. He wishes for a great atmosphere with scouts from all over the world at Scouttropolis.

Patrick
International Commissioner of the Diocese

Patrick’s highlight in his international scouting activities was definitely the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden in 2011. He has taken a very active part in JOTA and JOTI for several years. Furthermore has he been to Finland in 2008, to the Danish national Jamboree as part of the service team in 2012 and to Kandersteg for several times. Patrick will be studying in the US from January to June 2014, so he will be very active in the final spurt of the preparation of the camp.
